What Would Happen If My Parents Die Without Making A Will?

I have a little brother and we're both under 18. My parents are too lazy to go make a will and when I ask them about it, they just say, "We'll split it between you and your brother 50/50." But if they don't make a will, and both my brother and I are under 18, what would really happen? Just curious.
